The mid-season update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is just around the corner, and Treyarch has finally revealed all the details about what fans can expect when Season 2 Reloaded drops on Thursday, February 20. With the season kicking off back in January, players have already seen a bunch of new content, including fresh 6v6 multiplayer maps, new weapons, and an exciting Zombies update. But this mid-season refresh is bringing even more to the table to keep things interesting until Season 3 arrives.

One of the most exciting things about mid-season updates in Call of Duty is that they don’t just bring new maps and game modes—they also introduce collaborations with pop culture icons. This time around, the rumors were true: a massive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) crossover is happening. And while the four operator packs featuring the Turtles were already confirmed last week, there’s still a whole lot more coming with Season 2 Reloaded.

New Multiplayer Maps & Weapons

For multiplayer fans, the update adds two new 6v6 maps. First up is Grind Ooze, a reimagining of the classic Black Ops 2 skate park map, now fully decked out in TMNT-themed decor. Then there’s Bullet, a brand-new, close-quarters battleground set inside a high-speed bullet train. If you love fast-paced action, this map is definitely going to be one to watch.

In terms of weapons, Season 2 Reloaded is introducing the D1.3 Sector, a sidearm that launches sawblades—perfect for slicing through enemies in style. And for TMNT fans, there’s a selection of themed ninja melee weapons to complement the Turtles’ martial arts skills. Get ready to fight in true ninja fashion!

Zombies Mode Gets a TMNT Twist

While there won’t be a brand-new Zombies map this time, players aren’t being left empty-handed. The Tomb map is getting a new Directed Mode, which provides a more structured experience for those who prefer a guided approach. Plus, there’s a fresh event called Cowabunga Cranked, a TMNT-themed take on the Cranked mode. In this version, players have to keep racking up zombie kills before a countdown timer runs out—if you slow down, you die.

Limited-Time Events & TMNT Takeover

Alongside all the new maps and modes, Season 2 Reloaded is bringing a couple of limited-time events to keep things fresh. The Turtle Power Moshpit mode will offer fans a chance to dive into TMNT-inspired chaos, complete with its own event pass loaded with earnable cosmetics.

Then, starting on March 13, the game will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Clover Craze event, which will run through the rest of Season 2. While details on this event are still under wraps, expect plenty of green-themed surprises.

The Road to Season 3

It’s clear that Treyarch is going all-in on the TMNT collaboration for this update. With new operator skins, a fully themed map, a unique Zombies event, and a dedicated Moshpit mode, this season feels like a full-fledged celebration of everyone’s favorite pizza-loving heroes. And with more events rolling out over the next few weeks, there’s plenty to keep players engaged as they wait for Season 3.

So whether you’re a longtime Call of Duty fan or just excited to jump into the TMNT madness, Season 2 Reloaded has a lot to offer. Mark your calendars for February 20—it’s going to be a wild ride!
