Whether you’re craving nostalgia, tactical gameplay, or a supernatural journey, Fortnite has something for you. With the introduction of Fortnite Ballistic, the return of the beloved Fortnite OG, and the mystical adventure of Chapter 6 Season 1: 鬼 Hunters, there’s plenty to explore. Here’s everything you need to know about these exciting updates.

Fortnite Ballistic: A First-Person Tactical 5v5 Mode

A New Way to Play

Get ready to experience Fortnite like never before with Ballistic, a round-based tactical first-person shooter (FPS). Launching in early access on December 11, Ballistic pits two teams of five against each other in a battle of strategy, precision, and teamwork.

At its core, Ballistic is about outsmarting your opponents. Each match alternates between attackers, who aim to plant a devastating Rift Point Device, and defenders, whose mission is to stop them. Success hinges on quick reflexes and strategic planning, as there are no respawns during rounds.

Gameplay Mechanics

Rounds and Victory Conditions
Matches consist of quick, high-stakes rounds. Win a round by detonating the Rift Point Device, eliminating the opposing team, or holding your ground as a defender. Teams switch roles after six rounds, and the first team to win seven roundstakes the match.

Starting from Scratch
Players begin with 800 credits and a trusty Ranger Pistol. Credits can be used to purchase a variety of weapons, including the Nemesis ARThunder Burst SMG, and Reaper Sniper. You can earn additional credits by securing eliminations or successfully planting the Rift Point Device.

Weapons and Gadgets
Each player can carry two weapons and one Flex Gadget, such as Proximity Mines, Recon Grenades, or Frag Grenades. Use your credits wisely, as your choices can make or break your strategy.

Teamwork is Key
Sharing resources is encouraged in Ballistic. Drop weapons, flashbangs, or even credits to support your squad. Survival rewards players with their gear intact for the next round, so stay sharp!

Early Access and Future Updates

Ballistic will launch with the Skyline 10 map, a curated selection of weapons, and limited items. Player feedback will shape future updates, which may include additional maps, weapons, and gameplay features.
